Bitumen 60/70
Bitumen 60/70 is the most commonly and extensively used type of Bitumen worldwide which is a standard Penetration Grade among Bitumen types ASTM D946M (commonly used Paving Grade test). The penetration grade of Bitumen 60/70 refers to the point that the penetration value is in the range of 60 to 70 at standard test conditions. The penetration grade bitumen has a thermoplastic property which causes the material to soften at high temperatures and to harden at lower temperatures. This unique temperature-viscosity relationship of Bitumen 60/70 is important when determining the performance parameters such as the rheology, durability, adhesion, and application temperatures of bitumen. Manufacturing process of this bitumen is through aeration on vacuum bottom (the raw material producing bitumen, left in vacuum distillation column in oil refineries). Bitumen 60/70 is typically used for the Paving, road construction, and manufacturing hot mixed asphalt pavements. This type of bitumen is normally packed and exported as Bulk bitumen (in Tanks), packed in metal drums or jumbo bags relative to customer requirements.
Oxidized Bitumen 115/15
Oxidized Bitumen 115/15 is the most highly demanded grade of oxidized bitumen by customers globally. Oxidized Bitumen 115/15 is manufactured on pure petroleum bitumen basis which is processed by blowing enormously hot air into Vacuum Bottom in an extremely high temperature via some meddling pipes. Oxidized Bitumen 115/115 burdens a very remarkable softening point, rewarding flash point and it has highest characteristic in its stability enduring melting. Oxidized Bitumen 115/15 is extensively recommended to the customers for various applications, such as raw material for manufacturing of vast number of products, like bitumen coating, civil works, road construction, ,crack seal and repairing, construction industries, pavement, sealing producing chemical fuel, paint production, production of rubber, lacquers, varnishes, paper-pulp-board, textile processing, , preparation of building insulation, isolation bitumen membrane sheets, producing impregnating agent, as additive to adhesives production, used as additive to construction materials, dust-binding, , and finally manufacturing plastic materials. Furthermore, Oxidized Bitumen 115/15 is applied to produce “mopping-grade” roofing asphalts. It is also necessary to point out that the special use of Oxidized Bitumen 115/15 is bitumen paint production and oil well drill fluid. The bitumen 115/15 can be packed in different formats such as in bulk, drum, and also meltable 25 kg craft bags, polyamide bags or carton boxes.
Gilsonite (Natural Asphalt)
Gilsonite is a natural bitumen, in the shape of pure resinous Rock similar to hard petroleum asphalt found in nature which is called Natural Asphalt, Natural Bitumen, Asphaltite, or Asphaltum. One of the best qualified Gilsonite is found in Iran Mines located in west of country. It is soluble in aromatic and aliphatic solvents, as well as petroleum asphalt. Gilsonite is a fragile and can be converted into a dark brown powder packed in 25 kg craft bags. What makes Gilsonite so special is its unique natural combination, enriched by Nitrogen, Beta-Carotenes and with low sulfur. This makes Gilsonite a multipurpose additive, high-performance, and a cost-effective solution in different applications. It is consumed in many countries world-wide for different applications such as production of paint, ink, and stain, used in Iron casting, as an Asphalt binder and recycled Asphalt to build roads with longer life time, it improves wellbore stability, drilling efficiencies (drilling fluid additives), and filter cake development.
