PARS BITUMEN Oxidized Bitumen 95/25

Description of Oxidized Bitumen 95/25

PARS BITUMEN Oxidized Bitumen 95/25 is Semi Solid grade of pure petroleum bitumen supplied by in the process of blowing hot air through an asphalt flux. Special physical properties of this grade can be used in different applications in the construction industry. PARS BITUMEN Oxidized Bitumen 95/25 is a petroleum bitumen which is made oxidized by bitumen 60/70 and blowing very hot air through it. The numbers refer to the midpoint of the material’s softening point and penetration relatively. The softening point value is the degrees Centigrade measured by the Ring and Ball method as determined by ASTM Standards D36. The penetration value is in 1/10 mm as determined by IP49 or ASTM- D5.

PARS BITUMEN Oxidized Bitumen is an industrial bitumen which has dark color, petroleum residue modified by the oxidation process. Oxidized Bitumen is supplied by by passing air through bitumen under controlled temperature conditions. Its ranges are from highly viscous to solid type. Blown bitumen grade has technical advantages toward the other bitumen such as durability, flexibility, water resistant and chemical stability.

PARS BITUMEN INDUSTRIAL GROUP Company guaranties the quality of PARS BITUMEN Oxidized Bitumen 95/25 and is ready to arrange the presence of international inspectors to check quality and quantity of the bitumen 95/25 during the production and also pre-delivery inspection before loading on container for each batch test report. PARS BITUMEN Warranties that its products match the quality standards according to ASTM Standards.

Applications of Oxidized Bitumen 95/25

PARS BITUMEN Oxidized Bitumen 95/25 is applied in the chemical, fuel, paints, lacquers, varnishes, paper-pulp-board, textile processing, road construction, pavement, crack seal and repair, civil works, roofing, construction industries, sealing and insulating buildings, adhesive, construction materials additive, dust-binding, insulating and impregnating agent, make rubber and plastic products. The PARS BITUMEN Oxidized Bitumen 95/25 is used in paving, asphalt-based paints for corrosion protection of metals, in lining public works structures, adhesives in electrical laminates, base for synthetic turf, typical Applications for bitumen 95/25 is used also for water-proof application and corrosion resistance for pipe coating, Portland cement pavement, hydraulic applications, paint manufacturing, caulking, mastics, and damp proofing. Oxidized Bitumen 95/25 is applied in insulation and isolation bitumen membrane sheet. Also is utilized in  Car undercoating Automobile industry is specially required for Blown Asphalt. Vehicle undercoating material is on the basis of Bitumen. Bitumen provides excellent waterproof, dust proof and noise proof for automobile undercoating.

How to use Oxidized Bitumen 95/25

PARS BITUMEN Oxidized Bitumen 95/25 shall be heated with double temperature against the softening point to have flow and viscosity. Before using Oxidized Bitumen 95/25, clean and dry the surfaces to be free of any loose particles, formwork, curing products, irregularities, slurry, and any dirt.

Storage/handling Conditions of Oxidized Bitumen 95/25

PARS BITUMEN 95/25 is guaranteed for the period of 10 years in the conditions of multi-time heating and cooling, you can refer to MSDS for further information.
