Cutback Bitumen MC-30 is a medium-curing petroleum product made by blending penetration-grade bitumen with a controlled quantity of kerosene or other solvent. This blend reduces viscosity, making the bitumen easier to apply at lower temperatures. Once applied, the solvent gradually evaporates, leaving behind a durable, waterproof bituminous film.
